INTRODUCTION
Yes, Tipps End has its own "STW" - Sewage Treatment Works !
Unfortunately for Tipps Enders, they and their properties cannot benefit from it.
It was built in 2008 as part of Anglian Water's "first-time sewerage" programme for the central parts of the villages of Welney and Christchurch.
And it isn't a "proper" treatment works either, it is a lagoon. Discharge from that into a local drain is not as clean as from a conventional works.
