This season's 'Presentation Evening' was again held at the Lamb & Flag on Friday October 5th with club members, family and friends in attendance. An enjoyable evening was had by all starting with a 'Hot & Cold' Buffet in the restaurant.

Club Chairman John Loveday then gave a short speech thanking those responsible for carrying out the groundsman duties, providing teas and undertaking general admin work. It was noted that the club had a slightly improved season from last season winning 2 more matches and welcomed the arrival of 3 new players, Duncan & Ashley Hobbs and Mark Brown.

Club Secretary Tony Smart opened the Presentation section by presenting the

Bowling award to a surprised club captain JOHN LOVEDAY who headed the averages taking 23 wickets at an average of 14.2

Club Chairman John then presented the following awards :-

Batting Award  SEAN GOODGER (average 18.5) who just pipped Stuart Singleterry on 18.3.

Catching Award to SEAN GOODGER (9 catches)

Fielding Award to SEAN GOODGER.

Ducks Award to SEAN SMYTH,  who narrowly beat the skipper by one '0'.

Captains Award to PERCY BULSARA, still mesmerising the batsmen at 73 years of age and taking valuable wickets.

Cricketer of the Year to SEAN GOODGER - having won 3 specialist awards, there was only one choice and a well deserved winner.

A special mention to both John Loveday and Sean Smyth, who both played in all this seasons 16 matches.
